Connect lavela to your AI agent
Add lavela once, then ask your agent to launch and run your app. You sign in with your lavela account when the agent asks — there's no token to copy.
Start with the short, 3-step guideClaude (web and desktop app)
Adds lavela as a custom connector. Connectors you add on claude.ai also show up in the Claude desktop app.
Add to Claude- Claude opens “Add custom connector” with lavela already filled in — click Add.
- Click Connect, sign in to lavela, and approve access.
- In each new chat, turn lavela on from the tools (+) menu, then ask: “launch my app with lavela”.
Want ads, cron jobs, preview environments, security scans or legal documents too? Those need the full connection — see how below.
Claude Code
Run this once in a terminal on the computer with Claude Code CLI installed. Lavela will be available across your projects.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user lavela https://console.lavela.dev/api/mcp- Open Claude Code in your app project folder. If it was already open, start a new session.
- Inside Claude Code, enter /mcp, select lavela, then choose Authenticate.
- Sign in to Lavela in the browser and approve access. Return to Claude Code and check that the status is Connected.
Already added lavela?
An old entry, with an old address or a leftover token header, can stop the browser sign-in from starting, so remove it everywhere and add lavela again.
Paste these four lines into your terminal. A line for a place where lavela was never added just says so, which is fine.
claude mcp remove lavela -s user
claude mcp remove lavela -s local
claude mcp remove lavela -s project
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user lavela https://console.lavela.dev/api/mcpOr run this instead. It clears old lavela entries from your Claude Code settings itself (not a project’s .mcp.json), signs you in through the browser, and sets up Claude Code (and any other supported tool it finds on this computer).
npx @lavela/cli connectSeeing claude: command not found?
This command requires the Claude Code CLI. Install it, then retry in a new terminal.
